Here is Austin’s latest. Tinted resin and wood diamonds capped with red resin. It took some time. Poured the resin in lines. Resined them to the wood. Band sawed the strips at an angle. Rejoined them with left over tinted resin. Reband sawed them into the close shape and then sanded it the rest of the way. What do you think? Troy

This was found in my email inbox. Not sure who did the nice tail block/laminated rails. Looks like a Danny Hess type of board but I’m not sure…

You’re right. It is a Hess. The very same board is under his blogspot at http://www.hesssurfboards.blogspot.com/ about halfway down under Round Pins and Wings.

Man! If only someday I could be a craftsman anywhere near these guys. Great stuff.
