It all depends on your perspective.
The way doc and I figure I can immerse myself in the programming and data analysis - it’s what I do for a living. Plus I’d get to watch him play a wave tank. And we both try to unlock the secrets of what makes surfcraft work the way they do.
And I get to take off for a surf whenever I want “field research” 
Can’t see it happening in my lifetime, but one can dream.

I’d spend it all on r+d. I know some isolated waves for testing. I’m waiting for my ticket.
Count me in on the concrete board program. We can do deck inlays with recycled tiles that have fallen off of the Space shuttle. I finalizing plans right now for a three board quiver. One 10’0" with dual hydrofoils and two 5’10" fish with single hydrofoils. After a full day of DESTROYING the local reefs we can park the boards on the beach and have a picnic.
