Fundraiser for Surfrider / Win supplies to build your own board!

Hey all…

I wanted to give a little so I set up a $2000 fundraiser for Surfrider.

I will be raffling off a free custom order surfboard once the $2000 is raised. I’ve been working with Surfrider to get the word out. It’s only been a couple days and it’s over $700 already!

I was thinking for swaylings, I could have supplies (blank, resin, cloth, boxes, and fins) sent to the winner if you’d rather make your own. And sorry, I’m only covering shipping within the US.

Hey Everyone,

As of today, with the help of about 50+ people on the east and west coasts, we raised $1,260 for the Surfrider Foundation. I added some new options for the winner of the raffle to pick, one of which being supplies to make your own board (shipping paid for within the continental US). The money goes directly to Surfrider through changethepresent.org, and is tax deductible. You will immediately get a tax receipt emailed to you after donating.

So please take a moment to look and help us all raise some money for a good cause…it’s getting close to $2,000!!

I guess one of the perks to making boards as a hobby is being used to giving boards away for basically nothing. :slight_smile:

So instead of making myself something, It’s great to actually be able to raise money this quickly for a good cause.

Surfrider is stoked about it!

It hit $1300 last night - $700 more to go!
