Future glass/carbon fiber soft flex fins

whats the opinion on having Future glass/carbon fiber soft flex fins with your board as opposed to say some classic fins?

I thought carbon fibre stiffens up a fin , actually ?

I guess I’ll find out when I cut out , foil and ride mine , anyway…

Some people like using carbon layers near the fin spine for a flex fin…the carbon has a nice return to it, and carbon layers near the spine don’t stiffen a fin much. Carbon layers on the outside, OTOH, make a fin super stiff real quick,
