Hey guys-
Just wanted to share my little find for a quick set up for a shaping booth in my garage.
I found this kit for a quick set up to keep the wife from whineing.
I bought the kit form this link- http://www.americover.com/4_pack_plus_773_prd1.htm The guy who helped me was pretty mello-ask for Bill
I used their white fire retardant sheeting with a zipper pack for a door and taped a shop vac hose for the dust.
If you guys have other ideas feel free to share.
Blue tarps from HF - $20.
2x3 framing studs from, 1x10 whiteboard for light/shelf, 3 lights (2 side, 1 overhead) - approx $50.
I recommend using the blue tarps for color and light blockage on the set-up shown. They are on sale at HF for $4 or $5 apiece now.
What i liked about the system is that i can take it down and re install it easily. The anti static film does not let dust cling to it either so clean up is easy.
Stil have my garage space for other projects and parking. It definetely is not a $50 set up but is pretty damn sweet !
I like it. Of course the damage is already done in my garage. Foam dust everywhere. I don’t do any fiberglass sanding in the garage, but would be interested know well it would contain.
