I’m never sure how to do the reinforced hotcoat correctly. Are you supposed to sand between the lam and hotcoat stage? What if you have little bumps that need to sanded down, can you do that and still do the reinforced hotcoat? What if your lam has shiny spots? I think the biggest problem I have is that I’m trying to do it with epoxy, which is definitely not lam resin.
Is a reinforced hotcoat with epoxy possible?
