give a souless surfboard a heart

So if there is no reserve price I will start bidding. I will give you one torn dollar bill and two dollars and 98 cents in small change. !!!

go the pig !

  hahaha

So here it is Valentines day and there has not been a bidding war on Ambroses heart . Soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!! Where is Ambrose ?

Ambrose spent the day not on swaylocks.

Laminating two sides for the next

8’hollow balsa finally got em’ glued up.

three t-bands for both the deck and bottom.

Maybe I’ll make the drain plug have

a heart shape handle. found another

heart it is  black and blue and upside down

got a hundred red tint ones to rub out…

…ambrose…

no one has topped my bid of three hours of work,

maybe more…I can have em burried w/me in my pyramid.

I will bid a crisp 10.00 and pay for shipping to one:   Chipfish down under so he can have a look at the bottom, too.   Mike

And, I really like the smooth ones on page one.  The hearts, not Ambrose’s Bagginian mug.  I bet I could get a few points if I gave one to the wife.  La cuenta, por favor?  Mike

very generous of you , mike , thanks !

i will cherish it as a bit of swaylocks history , thus preventing ambrose having the prospect to consider of a heart shaped pyramid [a heartamid?] burial , surrounded by ten gerzillion heart shaped resinous critters

amby , your creativity has sparked my rethinking of what i can do with my hundreds of fin panel excesses offcutisas

This all reminds me to ask, What happened, or where is the yellow "traveling board??

wftb is in australia at lennox.

perhaps coming out of storage

soon when the moment is right.

the little red ones vary in quality of finish .

They range down to 1/2’’ across

up to two inches in full three dimensions.

I can pick out assorted values to suit

but the multi color 3-d sculptures

reflect the work involved and the

value of materials and most of all

their singularity.One is only one.

Ah So Ambrose San, Thanks for the reply. Hope Lenny the Ox is treating Her right.

and would the yellow board benefit from some fluoro yellow fins , glo in the dark runners ....or ....your hearts ?

  cheers

  ben

if you just pm me the whereabouts ,  they would be on theyare waaay ...oh-kaaayyy ?

the travel board is a

single fin/finless

7’ heart-on

thanks any way .

ahh maybe I could

send rooster some

of your fins I got

from hicksey…

…ambrose…

Considering a March trip that could wind through the Lennox zone. Oahu to Pohnpei…by way of Majuro, Kwajalein, maybe Kosrae. Out of Pohnpei to Guam by way of Chuuk(Truk)…and then Guam to Cairns. Cairns to the Goldy or Brisbane…drive from there to NSW to check on the Travel Board and catch up with Lennox Steve and others along the way.

Roger , thanks for the photo ...LOVE the look of that board ...do you have any profile rocker / foil shots , and a shot of its bottom , and fin , too please ?

lucky lennox Steve , eh ?   I hope he has had HEAPS of good waves on it , I bet he's surfed with chris brock more than once ! [wouldn't it be great to get photos / footage of mr. brock on it , too , to post here ?!]

Roger , your life sounds too hard .... perhaps you need a holiday , sir ! ( perhaps , 'if ' you are ever in West Australia .... I'd love to meet you one day ?)

  cheers !

  ben

Hey Ben,

For sure Western Australia is in my future. When wife retires, we would like to do an extended road trip throughout the whole big island! I don’t have any foil/rocker views…here is the bottom.

Ogre…good waves on Kosrae…suitable for Seniors?

roger

thanks for the shot , Roger !

so... how long till your wife retires ?

I guess you better not let me near that board , eh ? [I'd be wanting to put side plugs in it , and decorate it with multi fins , instead of hearts ?! ha]

  cheers
