I finished laminating a longboard, and I want to glass the fin on. I searched the forums and I get mixed results on what method is better. Glass on before the hot coat or after.

glass them on before like bill said, i think that the easiest thing to do is to lay them up then hotcoat both sides of all the fins as well as the tail area around the fins. pre-grind that entire area to get everything flat and even then build the speed bead around the tail and hotcoat the whole bottom for final sanding
