I have a 9 footer that is classic weight foam with a 4 oz. bottom and a double 4 deck. The deck is dent free after nearly 2 years, but I would recommend using a 6oz. for the bottom. I have built more than a few all 4oz. boards for my self, but the draw back is I have buckled or broken all of them! The classic foam is much stronger than blue or green, I don’t find much of a weight difference going with the classic. A blue or green all 4 is going to be lighter, but after a few repairs or fixing a broken board it is moot.

So you prefer a stronger core and a lighter glass job 2x4ozE deck on your personal boards? Are pressure dings 'significantly’less?
