Glassing fish tail

I have glassed a few swallow tails and have had problems with the bottom lam getting the glass right on the points and in the "V" of the tail.  I am getting ready to do a retro fish with a pigment on the bottom and need some advice on getting the bottom lam done correctly so the pigment comes out right on the tail.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Steve

Cut slits on the points, and in the buttcrack. If doing a tint or pigment, cut a small piece of cloth to put on the underside of the crack.

good luck

good luck.

Click this link and then click the last box on the bottom right that says glassing, you will watch almost a whole video of glassing, pinlining, hotcoat . gloss , sand and polishing a fish. I think this will help you.
