glassing nightmare

Hey Folks.

I’m hoping some of you glassing experts might be able to help me out with something. I recently did my first board with chanels on the bottom.

Between laminating and hot coating the chanels had 80% pooled with resin. Sanding this down seemed like a major pain in the as so I stripped off all the glass around the chanels. Luckely enough I did a real good job and did not pull away any foam so the foam & chanels are in very good condition.

What can I do to ensure that I don’t get this pooling again on attempt #2

Thanks

Brian

Set your racks up so the board’s nose in higher than the tail as you glass. This will allow the resin to run down through the channels and could help prevent it pooling there.

So simple but yet probably incredibly effective.

Thanks
