Did the bottom lam 6oz and deck lam 6oz. Want to put another layer of 4oz over the deck. Have 2 pieces 3ft each for this 6ft board. Any problems doing this? How about cosmetically? Over lap the two or just meet them together?
I’d overlap it some and then sand it down. Shouldn’t be a problem.

and if you cut the cloth in a “V” or an arc, this lessens the stress focus point that can be a problem when you have a straight line across the board. - can avoid snappage along that line.
You shouldn’t see the line when finished, as long as the glass you’re using is nice and clear. feather the exposed edges with sand paper (i.e. sand edge down so it meets the other pieces smoothly).
Try not to get any deep sandpaper gouges, hot coat, and all will be good!
