I have a 6ft board and a 5ft piece of glass Can I use the 5ft piece and a 1ft piece.
Any sugestions. I dont really want to waist the glass
Sounds like asking for trouble to me, could create a weak area for stress fractures,
How about using the 5ft peice for the deck patch?? or if you save it to use on another board thats not really waste. If you keep it it will get used eventualy ,but by taking a short cut you could compramise a whole board now that’s a waste.

I did that on my last hollow, but that’s a different medium. I did make sure though that the pieces overlapped each other by at least 1.5 inches.
I agree with the deck patch idea on foam… or make some fins out of it…
