Ok im going to shape a board for a buddie of mine and he wants a 9’2" all around board for south bay, paloverde, county line conditions. he wants a nose scoop im going to do up to almost half the board. Wants to be able to get to nose, but still carve it around a lil. it will be single fin. I am just looking for others input and ideas to make him the best board i can. any input would be appreciated. Any anymore questions… Just ask
if you want the board to be good dont put the nose concave right upto the centre of the board. keep it about 18inches long. 9’2’ x 22.5’ x 14tail x 18nose
half inch deep concave tops. Go only about 20-22"" from the nose with the concave. Anything else just dose not make sense. The specs above are in the ballpark. If you want some specs think about including the height and weight of the rider. Drew
Ive talked to a few shapers and the input i got aboutth econcaves was, if yo uput the small spoon like general it slows the boards down much more then if you draw down the concave longer closer to center. so wont just slow down when goin up to front. The rider is about 160 lbs and about 5 11. Hope this helps… thanks for your info
