Does anyone have a good ding repair guy in San Diego? On my recent trip to Costa, there was an air bubble under the lam or something and when the plane went up in altitude the air expanded and delamed the nose of my board! It started as maybe a 2 or 3 inch little bubble, but every day I surfed it expanded and now it’s the size of the whole lam, I’m so bummed. I usually do my own ding repair, but this board is only 2 months old and last time I fixed a delam it was hideous. I want to take it to a pro this time.
Moura does a great job. (858) 350-4656
Can’t go wrong with Joe Roper (619) 275-0447
I’ve also used Ding King in the past (760) 753-0316
A de-lam is just a big ding so there’s no reason that you can’t fix it yourself. There’s lots of info here on Swaylocks.
I’m not a “pro” as in I don’t have a building with my name on it but you can PM me and I can walk you through it or you can pay me to fix it.
But really you should accept the challenge and fix it yourself.

I’ve had 3 boards shaped by him. He’s a good guy.
did you buy the board at a shop ?
…seems to me if the board has delammed around the logo after only 2 months , someone didn’t do much of a job laminating …
take it back .
If they just laugh at you , tell them you will tell everyone you can [on the web as well , what a crap establishment that shop is for after sales service …
just a thought …

if however you made the board yourself , then I guess fix it yourself too …and I totally understand …we all got to start somewhere …
