Good longboard video/dvd for beginner

Hello Swaylocks,

Got my first longboard from a local shaper here in NH and am having a great time – but, age (42), work, family, and east coast summer conditions let me get out only once a week or so.

Any recommendations for a longboard video/dvd that shows a wide variety of waves/techniques/riders? To me right now, paddling, popping up, turning to trim is as interesting as big waves and advanced skills.

So, am not necessariliy interested in seeing just the best waves/exotic locations/most awesome riders.

Got to have something to do on those flat days to get inspired, besides riding my carveboard!

Thanks in advance,

Michael

Hey Michael, you may want to take a look at the Roxy surf now dvd. A bunch of very up beat girls covering the basics pretty well in small, fun looking tropical waves.

you absolutley cannot go wrong with any of the wingnut videos. they arent all done up, just friends surfing good and not so good waves. i think they may be for sale on the robert august website.
