Got 20 0z of 403 microfibers??

I needed west systems 403 microfibers, what I got was the micro balloon fairing filler. The boatyard doesnt have 403, geesh now he tells me. Going through west marine will take a week and a half.

If anyone can beat this time for me, how about 20 oz? Shipped to Japan paid by me + the 20 oz.

I will order sometime tomorrow,

There are plenty of places in the US that will ship to Japan. You might try Fiberglass Supply or Jamestown Distributors to start. Also, 403 is just finely cut up cloth, lots of companies have their own version that is more or less the same. You may ask another boatyard or marine supplier if they have their own.

If you are still in a pinch you can make it yourself by cutting 6 oz or so cloth along the warp path 1cm wide and then doing the same along the fill. If you need it finer then that, go to .5cm or .25. Gather the stuff in a container and stir it around really well so the strands come apart. Wear a mask for sure! That will hold you over for 1.5 weeks.

do you weigh the cloth before or after cutting it up?

403?

how do you know when you pass 400?

I have bought Q but my suspicions have been validated

I have been using micro fibers all along

maybe only # 20 microfiber but…

fiber fill none the less

how bout cutting up some mat?

lots o’ scrap every where

If you dont throw it away

you have micro fiber on demand

with a little less effort than on line ordering.

I went to home depot for some meditation and came up with more filler than I need to chew, mahalo bros.
