wood seems to be the ultimate, and they seem like a good starter for learning the processes.
anyone got anything to say?

Laminations and wood have a lot of aesthetic appeal, Couple that with boat builder’s skills completes a nice picture. As far as surfboards go, there lies another situation all together. The whole area of wood on frame surfboards is really interesting, but I’d say most surfboard builders have years and years of experience before they can market their boards to surfer’s who ride waves seriously. To me, here’s another guy who put the marketing ahead of shaping skill and wave riding. Still, I like the look, working environment, and stoke.
thanks for the input. it seems like something different. I might give it a go in a few months. i’m just ready to try something new.
