Green Surfboards - let’s hear it!

One…

Its hard for me to wrap my brain around a FOURTEEN FOOTER!!! I once built a 9’ 6", it was huge, and so much work. I just can’t fathom a 14 footer. Kudos to you for pulling this off, nothing short of amazing!!!

awhile back…

What about a green handplane, scrap packing foam core, discarded cork heat proof mats as rails, birch veneer top and bottom.
Strap will be from ratchet strap i found on side of the road. Sealed with water based marine varnish.

Epic

Don’t know if this is green enough…we stock “green cloths” 3oz flax, hemp basalt tapes…

Love this stuff it’s rad.
I gotta get me some, but I have left over carbon scraps from skate deck building days. I wann use it up on the next few stringerless ones.

But I do need to get some surf set epoxy. Apparently you can use it over entropy and it’s easy to sand?

Sealing and the product behind. Boatcote

Sanded - do you have any tech specs on the flax cloth, ie: break strength/tensile strength?
Looks interesting, but trying to compare apples/apples.

What’s a typical layup schedule with the 3oz. flax on a 2# EPS blank?
