The AGUJA FISH.

Absolutley the fastest board I’ve ever riden. Put 20 miles on it in Mainland Mex. Testing it in fast point breakwaves. And a few beach break spots.

It totaly lifts. And feels like it is riding on the pontoons only. Found out that the outside length IS the length. Making it a very short board. It is 5’11". And rides like a 5’9" or less. So drops where a little freaky.

Turns on a dime! The missing tail area makes for the coolest snaps. I mean you can just jam it into the tightest lip section. 360’s are effortless. All that is great, but the coolest thing is the outright speed you can get.

Crazy Dimensions tambien. 5’11"x 6"x16.5"x13.5"x2". Channel is 1" deep stem to stern. Is Epoxy/Styro construct. Fin set up is two FCS Prime(4.5" heavy raked) B.G. F-22 outside fins. With a Fins Unlimited center box. Has a 5" Rainbow “Rake” for the trailer. And finished with Candy transperant blue over silver metal flake, with two “Matrix” clear coats( no need for buffing).

We posted a few pictures of it a few mounths back. And the responce was just crazy. It breaks down like 30% naysayers(it will never work). 30% fearmongers(Danger in the line up, or Crowd control). 20% Tow-in/Kite potential (Strap-on Strap-in). And 20% Cooool( looks like fun to ride). We like them the best, cause frankly, it is cool to ride.

Currently we are building two more. With a few very minor changes. One for our good freinds in Mainland Mex. who clearly states " I think Aguja Fish is Better."

The PIXY DECK

Our Raised Concave decks are the bomb! I started shaping them in 1995, and haveven’t looked back since. Basically you get some thickness with a micro rail. Without that “humpback” feeling of a dome deck. Feels like you are “in” the board. Very nimble, very stable. And the best paddle control ever.

We noticed some hubbub in surfer mag a year or so back from a cat in Norcal. He is on the right track. And now we here that Mr. Slater maybe “stepping up”. Though , unfrotuntly, not on one of ours. WE do not claim what so ever to have invented this design. But have applied it to modern surfboards for over 10 years.

Hey,

I’ve seen your website in the past and your boards on ebay…some cool looking boards man. Hows that laser shaping system going? Did you design that yourself? Do you use two different rockers for that Agua Fish? One for the “pontoon” rails and the other for the rest of the board…had an idea like that once but never shaped it. Good to have you on sways.

Primer,

Hello, and welcome to the forum. There is a really excellent group of people here. Beautiful work I might add.

Regards, Tony.

Welcome to the Swaylock’s/Mensa club Primer.

THNX everyone.

Turbojet,

Yes we designed the Laser shaping system. The best possible way to view your geometry in realtime. No chasing shadows anymore.

We used a 6-7-R rocker template for the AGUJA. Then just scooped the center out for the channel.

The pontoons have alot of vee in the tail. and a little flip up front. But yes, two completly differnt rockers in the end.

Then dropped the rails ultra low, and left the deck raised.
