Greg Loerh, epoxy cloth deck inlay --

Hey Greg, Michel Junod is gonna shape me a 9’5"x 22.5" pintail next week. I want to put a cloth inlay on the deck up on the nose. Can I do it with Ployester laminating resin, which is a snap to trim out and then laminate right over it with epoxy Or should I do it with sanding resin and do a light sand before I put the epoxy over the top of it? The rest of the board will be clear. Can it be done as easily with epoxy or not? I recall you saying that doing the board with a reverse lamination would make it better and easier to do. If this is true – why so? I’m going to wrap the board with double 6oz. cause I’d like it to have a little substance. After all it is a longboard and with it being done in epoxy the resin won’t be a heavy as a polyester board. I’m thinking this will make a very strong board and the weight will be similar to a one built with poly. Let me know what your thoughts are on this and any suggestions you may have. Shall I use additive “F” for layups and hot coats too? Looking forward to hearing from you. Mahalo, Rich
