Happy Birthday.... Cheyne

If my surfer mag. Calendar is correct Cheyne’s birthday is tomorrow … Hope it’s a good one for you . And I want to thank you for all the help you’ve been for many on this forum. You helped me with my McCoy nuggett problem . The 8’2" Nuggett that Randy French seems to have designed for Geoff to have a Thruster setup for it’s fins. Now has a full size center fin box … Sc— Randy French… Aloha Happy Birthday !!!

As it is already the 7th over here, then if your information is correct we are already in the zone of Cheyne’s birthday. Many happy returns to you Mr Horan. If our astrological and numerological information is correct then Cheyne is a Leo and a seven, and thus has the heart of a lion and a philosophical bent!

Best wishes, Roy.

Cheyne…

let’s go surf!

I am thinking about doing the same to my 7 foot surftech nugget.I already ride a 7’11’’ surftech nugget single with a wing keel fin and love it.How are the results with you putting a long center box in as a replacement/ I am told by a source that a poly foam insert is needed to support the box. Any feed back you can give me would be helpful.thanks P.S not to get off the track Happy birthday Cheyne, my little girl turned 17 also on 8/7.Have a good one

Aloha, The surftech that I have has a poly insert in it allready . I took mine to a pro to get it done . actually he has not put the new box in yet . I removed the old one myself with a roto-zip tool . It was easy and that is how I know it has a Poly insert in it . I will post a pic when it is finished . Should be this week…

How is it going Hotcoat. Send me your phone. You did not leave it after you called or I would have returned the call. Good speaking with you. Let me know how that Mccoy Tech rides after the single.

Cheyne…Happy Birthday and Keep ripping. The future looks bright.

Any thought to putting in oversize woodies along side of the box to support it instead of a poly insert?I wonder if i could achieve the same results with wood going about one inch past the front and back of the box?
