what kind of fin comes standard with a Harbour Nineteen (pics, anyone?)??? is there another fin that anyone might recommend for a board like this???
The Harbour website is a little behind on pics of the new models (19, H3, etc.) but I bet if you posted the question to the board there, you’d get an answer right away.
The “Nineteen” comes with a rootbeer colored 10+" flex fin with a wide base (nearly takes up the entire 10" box and narrow tip)…similar to a Greenough 4A.
I ride a 10’ Nineteen… The board is majestic! It is also a bear to turn…especially in conditions it wasn’t designed for (NJ beachbreaks). I am in the process of experimenting with different fins and have found that a 10" Squirrel Cutway works great. The board is much more manuverable. I know some may cringe with such a modern fin on a classic design but, it works.
