Hi mates

maybe is ot… I have ordered some stuff from harbourfreight 2 weeks ago… I try to ask my status order but nobody reply me.

some swaylokians have some problem with this company before?

I’ve generally had good luck with them, though they generally ship via parcel post which can take a while. Typically that’s 2 weeks or so, maybe a little more - which is prolly why they give ya free shipping on orders over $50. Truck freight on the bigger items, also takes a while.

e-mail, though, isn’t what they do real well. I have had very good response from their live online help setup ( click the link at http://www.harborfreight.com/ though they won’t be available 'til Monday morning ) or by phone, though they don’t have a whole lot of people answering the phones.

Yes I Understand about waiting time… but I send e-mail about more money for shipping (im in Europe) or if they are ok with my credit card.

but no reply… 5minutes before I have order at damascus new videotape and they always reply.

I’ve had a whole lot of problems with them in the last 6 months. Poor service via e-mail. Fair/Good service over the phone. I have purchased several items that needed to be returned. The most recent was an air compressor. It had a crack in one of the valves. I returned it and ended up waiting a month and a half for it to be replaced. It would have been even longer if I wanted it repaired because the part was out of stock. I’ve been waiting nearly two months for some clamps I ordered. Evidently they have been on backorder and every date they give me ends up being pushed back.

If I wasn’t a backyard/weekend shaper, I wouldn’t be doing business with them. If you have time, I suppose the prices are worth it.

actually harbourfreight has some stuff very interesting… here isn’t easy to find

I ordered over the phone a HVLP gun http://www.harborfreight.com/cpi/ctaf/Displayitem.taf?itemnumber=90977 they don’t sell at their store near me. I ordered it a week and a half ago… I think their warehouse is in LA? I guess they are so busy it takes them a while to ship it out. I like the cheapy prices but some of it is super junky and some not. I live about 3 miles from a Lowes and a Home Depot. good products better service and no problem returning items.
