I went up  there one day and bought some resin tints...I was in OC on business...I fell in love with a flex fin but did not have the money....Sweet talked the wife..she said OK....called the next day....The 10 bucks for shipping beat not having a fight with the wife............That's how we work it...married 20 years and happy......

I got my fin...the next day....:).........

Always very helpful regardless of who happens to be working at the time. They either train their employees well or hire people with the right attitude (or maybe both). Even with a small purchase they make sure you have what you need and know how to use it.

finally got to visit FoamEZ earlier this week. I think it was Brad that I met. That dude is way cool man! I drove all the way from San Diego after a long business flight from Portland. It takes 1 hr to drive from SD to Westminister without traffic. I don’t know how I made it with traffic, well actually I didn’t. Brad had left the doors open 10 min. after 5 and he’s sooo cool to have let me shop. Brad is so patient, I got the things I needed.

I've been getting my supplies from FOAM-EZ for many years and they have been great. My only bitch woould be I can't always make it there before 5pm after I get off from my paying job!

WOW guys thanks for the great props, we really appreciate it!  We do work hard to train our crew on board building.  As you know it takes quite a while to get up to speed as board building is a very complex process.  Just like board building, our employees get better with experience.  Finding great employees is not an easy thing as any of you business owners know but we have gotten lucky over time.  I always wonder how Starbucks does it.  Is it that they are always coffee’d up???  They seem to be so happy to work there!

It was definitely me who helped you Gnar.  I remember the evening well as it was a bit of a mess prior to you showing up.  Glad you had a good experience and glad we still had the cash register open.  Thanks for starting this thread and thanks for making the drive up from SD.

Flyinbri - We are trying to increase our hours to stay open for you guys who have to race over after your paying job.  Just need to be sure we have employees to cover those hours.  It has been on our to-do list for quite a while.

Thanks again to everyone who chimed in.  We really appreciate the feedback.  It’s been an interesting ride the last 18-1/2 years.  I’ve sure learned a lot.

Hey Brad, feel like setting up an outlet in South Australia? That way I can:

Quick question. I read on Southwest Airlines
that they charge $50 for over sized luggage (1-way). If I take another
business trip down to SD and drive up to buy 2 blanks, can they be
packed as 1 so I can take em with me on the flight back home? Tryin to
avoid paying $160 for shipping charges. Thank you for your thoughts on
this.

Hi Gnar-

We can pack two blanks into one box, we do that all the time.  It depends on what size blanks you want will depend on what box we use.  SIZE MATTERS with the shipping companies and airlines.  Let us know what you need and we’ll get it together.  It’s best to call or email the shop for more details or to get your order going.

I had an issue with shipping one time.  I called them and worked it out with absolutely NO issues.  I remember hanging up and telling my wife "Man, I wish every business was that easy to deal with!"  Biggest plus for me?  I live in Central CA and if I get my order in early, it's usually at my door NEXT DAY!
