Has anyone worked with any of the digital print companies?

My buddy’s wife asked me to build a board for him for his birthday. She asked about getting art printed / glassed in.

Since I will be dealing with one of these or other??? companies, I will probably have some logos printed up too.

Who do you recommend?

or others???

PM Bernie. He bought some kind of glass cloth that had an embedded print, and after not using it for I don’t know how long gave it to CMP. I think CMP was also been using the printed cloth, so Bernie figured he could use it. It had a rock wall look.

That Xmas CMP ends up giving Bernie a new board glassed with the cloth. We used it a couple of weeks ago out at Shark Country.

Thanks for the heads up… I’ll shoot him a PM

Hi Chris,

I've worked with 3 of the companies listed and can give you a breakdown, PM if interested.

Surprised you did not have listed Headline Graphics in Encinitas, CA he gets my vote...

Thanks George, I’ll shoot you a PM too…

EDIT: are these the guys?: http://www.headlinegraphics.com/

some cool stuff on their website.

Yep, HG Photocloth.  Good stuff.  I also suggest if you are doing a logo, that it get placed in

your art layout, meaning, the cloth comes out of the printer like a large roll, the cloth is a big

rectangle, and the board is obviously oblong or pointed, so the "corners" of the photocloth

are "empty" and you can place images in there at no extra cost.  (He charges by the foot for

a given width.)   He mails your art rolled in a cardboard tube, so shipping is quite reasonable.

Have fun!

George

inlayz from AUS also does custom prints
