I got my blank today, YAY.
WIll start shaping but first i need to build some stands and cut out the template.
Got the blank from Hardcore Surf Products here in good ol’ NZ. Good price and is supa white.

You could just shape it on the bed??? when it comes to glassing it there might just be a problem… resin’s just not gunna wash out!! and fibre glass sanding debris isn’t comfortable!!! Haha laughing aside good luck dude!! you’ll enjoy it and learn heaps!!

Yea i was thinking about that aye. Nothing wrong with sleeping with resin. I hear it smells nice and is soft as feathers. Ha. Yea cheers for that. I cant wait to get shaping. Have to wait for exams to finish first.

I see you have, at least, one chair. I guess you can find another like that around the house.
So grab them, fit some insulation tubes on top of them and you have two 1$ shape stands.
So they are what I use:
Aha. Nice and simple. I like. Yea but i have quite a bit of wood lying around so i will build me some.
Need to get a repirator as well before i start shaping.
