Have you ever ride on this??

Hi, swaylockians:

I`m thinking to buy a new surfboard. Usually ride on mi minimalibú (7’ 4"), and I want a longboard. A friend is selling this:

http://www.newsurfproject.de/shop/catalog/product_info.php?cPath=22&products_id=109&osCsid=1f10da6…%20.

What´s your opinion?? I´m 80 kgrs, 1,75 m, and my surfing level is normal (better than my english, hahahahaha!)

Thanks and good waves!

nsps are garbage, pass.

Anyone else???

I need your opinion!! tomorrow morning I´ll watch this surfboard and I want to have an opinion based in your experiences. Thanks, folks

I’d agree. Unless NSP has made some advances I haven’t heard about, I’d avoid it as you’ll probably quickly grow out of the board.

Although, if you love throwing your board on the rocks, it may be a good choice!

I think differently!

as I rode for a really long while on my best friend’s 10’2" NSP, I can now say it’s one of the best investments u can do on an all-around , any-time surfboard.

yes it’s a bit heavier, and it has no soul, and yadayadadada bla bla bla… it never get dings, never breaks, always dominate the water…

I’m no pro and I rip with the 10’2 on the shitty israely waves… i’m sure u can blow the shit out of a 9’6 on the atlantic ocean!

I even copied its shape and built my own 10’2 from EPS ( surfs good but not bullet proof!)

  1. if u get it on a fare price- take it!

  2. if u have a chance to ride it before u buy… go for it and then decide.

  3. after u surf on a relatively heavy surfboard (NSP) and you try HP light longboard… you just rip the hell out of the wave.

go for it

peroide, why are you not taking a local shaper? diego is making some sick longboards and if its the price get in touch with soul surfboards en sevilla.

you can talk with’em about epoxy lam, i could do this for them he’s got my number.

Gracias!!

I´ve just send an email to soul surfboards asking for a longboard. (Really I don´t need a ‘bullet proof’ surfboard, hahahhaha!!!)

good waves and many thanks

Choosing a log is not an easy stuff. You may have to ask yourself what you want to do with it:follow the wave straight ahead, carve up and down, try to noseride, maybe you want all of them.

You may have to spend some time looking at other’s surfers board and see what they do with it.Look at the size, thickness, nose and tail rocker. Then it will be easier to speak with the shaper and tell him what you want.

My boards are all made by very good shapers and last summer i rode a 10’2 NSP from one of my friends:it was ok but not very tasty. even my son(12 years old) who rides my logs don’t like the NSP.

Don’t think about the dings. So easy to fix.

Support your local shapper.Speak honestly with him and he will make the best board for you.

Thanks, guys!!

I´ll probably buy a hand-made classic and used longboard, and later, after ride few months, I´ll know what I want.

Good waves, Peroide
