I agree .Great courage for dealing with the issue and one cant imagine the internal pain and conflict which he has borne inside ,alone . Try and visualise being forced to act and look like the opposite sex for 60 years but still feel the person you are now as your reading this . To me that is a place of utter despair. I can only wish him well and hope he will find some peace and contentment .

I too have had this surgery and there should be no fear in the unknown. I had the process done (or I should say I'm only one surgery short of being a complete man) about 15 years ago. My name used to be LaFonda Washington. I was born a poor share croppers daughter, that voted for Bill Clinton. I moved to Southern California in 1975, Learned to Knee board, and later turned to Boogie Boarding. I found that Boogie Boarding worked better when you were dragging a dick, so I had the surgery done..........or I should say almost had it done, up until now I have been wearing a strap on to improve my bottom turns.

Why all the conflict at that age? Most men 60+ already have boobs. Most women naked at 60+ look like they’re holding a tumbleweed in front, so you can’t tell difference anyhow. Wow! I thought that stuff happened because of the long-term effects of glassing surfboards & and Styrene exposure. I don’t think Peter ever glassed any surfboards.
So much for my theory.
But I’m keeping my eye on my glasser buddies.
I’ll keep shaping. I think foam is safer.
