10 days and counting… the 4-6 inches of snow they are predicting for us here in NJ today isn’t making the wait easier. Anyway I was just was hoping to get some info from anyone who’s got some. I’ll be in wailea, so unfortunately on the wrong side of the island but as i’m not paying to stay I can’t complain… got a jeep and am ready to go…Please tell me the breaks I shouldn’t miss and those to be avoided…any help would be appreciated!!
Check out wannasurf.com - west maui is cool 'cuz you can see so much from the road. And, if it gets big it wraps around nice. Also, go all the way around the Hana side, at least just to see it all, soooo beautiful. Go up Haleakala (sp) too. check out Hanalou too, crowded, but one of the best there is. good luck, Taylor.
Already drooled over some pics at wanna surf… I’ve heard you can get lucky with an uncrowded spot by just driving around and looking for breaks… sounds to good to be true honestly. I’d really prefer uncrowded
