HELP!...Bleeding pinstripes, an idea to fix it?

Hello

I painted the top of my board with water based paint. Araopund the painted area’s i did put black pinstripes with a weather proof pencil (black).

On a ‘test-piece’ of blank i did put some resin on the pinstripe and it was bleeding. Possibly the pencil was alcohol based…

Is there a possibilitie to ‘seal’ the pinstripes on my blank? i was thinking of painting the lines again with a black water based paint or maybe paint over them with a transparent water based paint.

Can anybody help me, the design was so nice and now it seems the whole board is fucked up…

Thanks a lot

Try spraying some clear acrylic over it and then glass on a test piece.

Howzit speijk, You have a few other choices, Posca pen, Zig pen or my favorite India ink or a resin pinline.Aloha,Kokua

Thanks Kokua.

But what will be the easisest way to protect the painting now.

The painting is on the blank so i still have to glass it.

Now it isn’t possible anymore to use another kind of pencil etc.

Is there anybody who can recommend transparant waterbased paint?

thanks
