.....because , needless to say , i have PLENTY of photos of what i have been making over the last however many months it is since i was on a windows programmed computer .....and perhaps one or two of you may be interested in seeing them , hopefully ? a lot of fin stuff , but a few boards and surfing shots too, of course ....
Anyway , nowadays i am restricted to a [free, thankfully !!] "apple mac" computer , and i'm buggered if i know how to post photos ?!!
thanks in advance for your help , guys [?and , 'Rachel' ?]
Then when typing in a comment on a forum, there is a little box that looks like a tree if you hover your mouse over it , it will say "insert/edit image" Click it A new little window will appear (if it doesnt, allow popups in explorer or firefox settings - for sways only of course) In the section "image URL" : "paste" the URL that you copied from PhotoBucket then you can play around with the size and position settings.
Alternative to bothering with photobucket is http://www.tinypic.com. Post the photos there, and copy the link they provide. Then just paste the link straight into your message here. The tinypic link will begin with [IMG].
2nd alternative is to upload right to swaylocks. When you’re logged in here, there’s a “My Account” link at the top right. Click that, go to the bottom right of the next page, and follow link to uploading pics.
Then copy the location of the pics you upload. All image file links must end in .jpg, .gif,etc. They are then bracketed by the forum code such as “[IMG]”
yep, I can see your picture A tombstone looking longboard.
The above comments also work, to upload pics, But Photobucket links/urls can be used in any online forum or webpage then again, tinypics and sways may aswell.
Ken - Thanks. I tried that way when I first got my camera and it worked less than 20% of the time for me… Who knows??? Maybe I’ll try it again, 'cuz as you point out, when it did work it was nice and easy…
