I just drove up from Florida with a board that I wasn’t quite finished shaping. It was the top board on the racks and the bottom had yet to be hotcoted. The loose black straps left black waxy looking marks on the bottom of the board any suggestions on how to get them off with out eating through the glass would be greatly appreciated.

No I was worried that it wood eat through the glass. Will it?
No, but where Nitro “blue” gloves when using that stuff. It’s very bad for you. Right up there with mixing glass bubbles with no mask. Maybe worse.
Don’t use acetone.
take some soap and water and a scotchrite sponge. Use the scouring side first, then wipe down with the sponge side. Don’t use to much water!
