Herb Spitzer/speaking of fins...

Herb - The check is in the mail for the super charger fins we discussed. I hope it’s enough - you’ve been more than generous with the freebies. I hope to bastardize a long board design using a combination of ideas after viewing Tom Sterne’s new hybrid and Gary Niblock’s John Mel hybrid. Your input will be appreciated as well. With enough fin plugs and maybe a box, I should have plenty of options to explore.

John, I’d just like to add that my nib/mel hybrid is not exactly as Herb specifies for his chargers, as my previous email stated to you, it is more on line with the rusty c-5 ideas. That being said I know from experience that my board fin configs that I mentioned to you made a difference in the way the board surfs. I haven’t tried Herb’s superchargers as specified by him, but I’m sure they make a difference as long as you build it to the specs he has had success with. My next board will more than likely incorporate Herb’s specific supercharger ideas. SUR4evr, nib
