HEY Hawaiin Glassers, I need a favor if Possible.

My artist uses alot of those lacey doilee like things for painting, Im sure theres a name for it but im at a loss. Last time I was in Hawaii I picked up some, I just had my piece rip, and cant find it here on the mainland, I need the type with Hibiscus on it, Over here in Ca ill i can find are roses and other less than macho flowers.

If your unsure what im talking about, you typically use it like a stencil, Lay one color down, then the screen and spray another color knowwhat i mean.

If anyone can get some for me ill pay, or if anyone in La OC area has a lead on it, Let me know.

Thanks

Howzit F1 surf, can you be a little more specific than lacey doilee things, maybe a pic of the ripped one. I would send some with no problem. The Wal-Mart in Lihue has a hawaiian section for tourists that has a lot of things. In fact I buy a lot of surf related stickers for design work there since they cost twice as much at a surf shop.Aloha, Kokua

Kokua, here is a picture of the type of material, Apperently its just called lace I thought it had a more technical term.

Im looking for A hibiscus and or a more tropical style. I bought the last one at Fabric mart I beleive, In Hilo

i need the stuff that comes on bolts, as long as its more than 30 inches wide{they usually come in 45-54 and 60} and 4 yards Im stoked

4 yards of wide lace with macho tropical flowers. We’ll keep our eyes peeled for ya!

Sounds like useful stuff, actually. Doesn’t it get kind of loaded up with paint after awhile anyway?

PS Meanwhile, I’m still looking for 50 feet of that razor wire with the really feminine barbs (you know, the curly delicate stuff)… if anybody has a line on that!!
