Nice idea for a thread! Here are mines, although they have already been posted elsewhere before:

Some more are on the way to France right now: an 8’ Hansen 50/50 and another Greek Maui Model…
Really nice collection balsa ! You forgot to mention that sweet yellow stinger you showed me the other day :
Oh my!!! How could I? You’re right, here is the fine Challenger stinger:
Come on, guys, show your hidden vintage beauties! I can’t be the only one to have a few?
ok, as it started with a UK board, here’s a couple of others, an early 70’s Tiki semi-spoon kneeboard, and i have ridden it (well once!), and a beautiful sprayed late 70’s (possible early 80’s) single fin;
had to edit this a few times while i worked out how the new sways works with attaching pics, thumbs up now I think I have worked it out
Hey…I think I sold this board to this person. It was a trade in from Alabama.
Hi Solo, the guy I bought it from was Daniel Creignou, shaper/glasser/sander/polisher/owner of Daniel’s Surfboards in Biarritz. Daniel makes great classic (or should I say “classy”) longboards and retro boards and he also imports some vintage boards from the States:
Here are a few from the Foam E-Z collection.
Is that a Greek “Eliminator” on the left, the green one? I think it is. You’re a lucky man… Looking for one at a fair price, if anybody’s interested…
To all of you Brits: I’m looking for a classic Bilbo longboard ('64-‘66) in good condition. Strictly “sentimental” value for me: when I started surfing, those were the ultimate boards… (Hobies and the like were just a dream, Bilbos were actually available through Jo Moraïtz’ surf shop in Biarritz.)

hopefully the pic turned out right

Chris, I deleted four of the five same posts. Guilhem.
I wish I had something to contribute to this thread, but i dont
Balsa if you dont mind what are the dims on this stubby? Looks like my kind of board.
Nice thread!
Durbs, it’s in the attic at my parents’ place. I will go there and write down the dims tomorrow. I can tell you it’s very thick with turned down hard rails and a flat bottom.
Yeah that trigger button is a bit touchy. Is there anyway to delete the posts. thanks Chris
Thanks Guilhem. I’ve also got a mid 70’s 7’6 Channin semi gun, 1975 6’6 G&S stinger, a hansen knee machine, circa ‘68-69 6’ bunger design 1, mid '70’s 6’8 something special swallow tail, and a late 60’s early 70’s Hobie 6’s down railer and if these are of interest to anyone out there I’ll give posting pics another go otherwise I’ll stayaway from the trigger
chris
These aren’t mine, but they’re certainly retro and most likely “historic” in the purest sense.
They are in a local museum. I was allowed to remove them from the display and measure, photograph, and document them. When i first saw them, I knew they were labeled incorrectly. All said “1940”. Obviously not.
Me and “Lazymodo” in the pic.
I sure would like to see the Channin if you don’t mind trying again?
