hmm

fuzzy and blue.

Lance’s in the rain?

way more obscure I’m afraid… not raining just shot from the channel…

looks like you scored! didn’t miss much while you were away.

Is this still in the Mentawai chain?

it was good surf! I rode a 7’4" most of the time…

hmm… yeah, hmmm is right… Thanks for the carbon, but you suck!!! Ha!!! I can say SCORE!!! (your surf trip, far more than the carbon, which, by the way, kicks ass.) I think I found the perfect leash loop material. Pics later, reports sooner. Peace to all -Taylor.

here’s a pic of the 7’4" I made for this trip - from a walker blank, 2x6 oz deck, 1x6 oz bottom, probox hawaii finboxes, dims are 7’4" x 12" x 20" x 14"…

you gotta get a better camera I think , keith …or get in closer [if you happen to have a spare jetski and driver hahahahhh not

great that you got in and out of there without major injury / board loss/ death …

my brother’s staph infection will see him being out of the water for THREE WEEKS !! [just as well he is there for 5 months then , eh ?!]

So…how did the 20" width on the 7’4 feel , Keith … was it okay ?

ben

iguess you went somewhere on a surf trip, Tell us about your experience.

I’m callin “photoshop.” That’s just a big day from last winter at Indicator doctored up with pretty palm trees. Kieth’s been at home the whole time wishing it was still January like the rest of CA. Hell yes I’m envious! Thanks for sharing. Probably too big for me anyway… Mike

That looks like the middle backoff section. Depending on the whims of the Tease you either raced for your life as the next section loomed or kicked out in time to get a macker on the head. I watched Keith get a two wave hold down right about there…Awesome photo.

here’s another shot taken from a bit closer (35mm film camera from inside the lineup, not on the boat)… I wish it broke like this near home in the summertime!! pretty much of a “go speed racer” kind of wave…there were times another foot or two of board length would have been nice…

well, after a VERY long jet flight or two, a few old guys got in a little plane and flew over a jungle, past a volcano…

an hour or two later we saw a small island that looked ok…

which turned out to be not too shabby, if you like palm trees and such…

hmm…
