Home Depot Foam

Today I went to Home Depot and picked myself up some foam. The foam i could find (that was thickest) wasn’t thick enough to shape a board. The foam is polystyrene foam and I’m hoping to glue two planks of foam together, then glue in a pine stringer…what do you guys think? Anyone had experience with the polystyrene?

I am in the middle of doing my first vac board. I just slice up one of the 4X8 planks, used pray glue (super 77 that I had lying around), then hotwire cut it. No problems.

its all in archives…been done many times b4…

Can’t i just glue them with regular elmers? Also, I was thinking of just using a regular hand saw to cut out the shape…if not possible, where can i buy a hotwire?

Elmers allow for one week curetime.

You can use the back of a hacksaw blade for cleaner cuts.
