Well, I finally arrived here in Hong Kong, settled in…waiting for my Visa…

I need something to keep me occupied so i was looking into making a board for my girl for a (late) Christmas present.

The only problem is, I can’t find any poly resin to save my life. I tried all of the surfshops I could find and they looked at me like I am growing a 3rd eye on my forehead.

Does anyone think a boat shop or even a car body shop would know where to get it?

I know this is really out there but what is the Cantonese word for poly resin?

Anyone who can help me will be treated to a free beer or 5 if you are ever in HK!!

I lived in Okinawa for a while and the only place I could get surf resin was a boat repair supply store. He had many different kinds of resin. I couldn’t communicate very well with the owner, he called it blue resin or surf resin. Good luck.
