hot coat vs styrene

Hey swaylockers

I wanna do a hot coat tomorrow but i don’t have too much styrene (40ml) 

what’s the minimum amount of styrene i have to put to a hotcoat?

i am using UV resin and surfacing agent (styrene).

Ohhh yeah and it’s poly resin.

that mean 2 ounces = 59 mililiters to 1 gallon= 3,78 liters … around 2%-4%?

Do you mean surfacing agent? Styrene thins the resin and is only part of the mixture for making surfacing agent. Depending on how hot you’re kicking the resin and the air temp etc…The general rule is 2 ounces of Surfacing agent per gallon of resin. It’s always better to have too much than not enough in your hotcoat.
