can i paint a board with acrilyc paints ouver the sanded hoatcoat and then gloss it ouver the paint??
I think that will be the better way for me, because i’m not a experienc glasser, so than i can couver some mistakes in glassjob…
Give your opinon and some help or tips pleas!

Romeublue, You can paint over the hotcoat with flat water-based acrylic paint. Try not to get it too thick though. If it builds up too much, it will do strange things to the gloss resin: making it bumpy and dull looking.
Once you gloss coat, some frustrations may be ahead. Namely if you sand and polish too deeply, you’ll start cutting into the paint, and all of a sudden you’ll see the white resin of the hotcoat. I HATE WHEN THAT HAPPENS.
So go carefully on the gloss sanding. One advantage of painting on the hotcoat, is that the colors will be intense and bright. Good luck. Doug
