How big was that wave? *PIC*

Silly isn’t it all this bluff about wave size. doesn’t just happen in Hawaii - underestimation runs rife everywhere. Real wave size is the size of the face from the peak to the trough. the reason for down grading waves is, i suspect, surfers’ terror of being thought of as bullshitters. surfers are fishermen in reverse.

where is this? BC?

Check out this pic of a Sandy’s tow in session. I’ve been surfing there most of my life and can barely comprehend the idea. Anyone familiar with the spot knows just how insane this is.

For Real, Honu! And THAT photo look pretty! What about AFTAH da thing broke! (That’s a full sequence I’d like to see!). “waste” deep wahtah, plenny lava fingahs. Whea my lunchroom tray stay?! Nice! Thanks for the PIC., eh!

(fok): Alaska… note slightly wider photo of the break. (pc): “How did that wave get through the mountains and all those trees?” By BENDING!! Check the bowl on that wall! http://www.pacificfleet.net/

Here`s a link to see the watercraft surfed on that wave… http://www.pacificfleet.net/images/wwpro.jpg
