Mullen is 35 years old and is the Godfather of street, and possibly still the best street skater int he world.
This is one of the few skate videos I’ve actually seen and, you can’t really tell in the internet clip, but the scene where Mullen is on the Hollywood walk of fame and almost runs into what sorta looks like an older man walking down the street…that man is none other than jack Nicholson.

I haven’t seen a Rodney mullen video in soo long. I remember when I first saw a video of him doing caspers one after the other…it blew my mind…and I think he doesn’t compete…he just does it for the stoke…that guy eminates passion in his skating…you can tell that those tricks…were practiced hours and hours on end…man…thanks for the video…

My favorite move was when he comes off the stairs or whatever and extends the board into a flying sidekick holding on with his toes I guess. Then he pulls the board back in and lands it. What’s that called? Mike
his kick flip to mid air kick flip is one of the coolest things i have seen in skating in quite some time

That guy is a true ambassador of skateboarding. His style and grace shows what the pinnacle of skateboarding is at the moment. His flare is second to none. He’s a bit aggro though.

i remeber when mullen was riding those ‘skinny’ freestyle boards in Bones Brigade, and everyone was like - ah thats cool, but not really skating.
