How do I keep airbrush bleeding on eps ?

I occasionaly get a bleeding airbrush when Glassing with epoxy. I was wondering what the best way to seal the artwork. I know that this can happen when paint is not watered down enough but I get a lot of bleeding with light color fades too. So do I seal the blank with epoxy? Is there a clear glue that may work? Please Help! Thanks

Is the paint bleeding into the epoxy when glassed, or are you talking about painting the blank and paint bleeding under a mask?

Matte finish water base urethane. I don’t know the brand I use off hand but I get it cheap at airbrush art supply stores. A single thin coat does the trick

Thanks Otay, I was hoping someone had an answer .Mahalo!

Overspray the artwork with a coat of clear. The guy who taught me what little airbrushing I know, used Clearacryl when he could get it. That brand may be long gone, but there are any number of epoxy clears available. Stay away from enamels and lacquers, stick with acrylic or epoxy. Krylon is likely the most common brand.
