Are those shadow boxes poured full with casting resin?

Yep I used casting resin to get the thickness and then hotcoated them. Some of the tables took 4 gallons of resin.Next we sanded everything down flush, taped them off and glossed with two coats of Non blush epoxy resin. They were flashed with a hot air gun but not polished. It’s a good durable commercial system for big jobs.

Jim,  wish I had known this a couple weeks ago. I gave Dave Levy a huge headache with some red cedar that would not take the glass even with a sealer coat. He ended up cutting/grinding the fins off and re-doing the fins in paulownia. No more problems.
