Tragic! I’ve got a old Milwaukee I canibalized. I’ll check tonight and see if there are any parts in there you can use. I doubt it but it’s worth a look.

oh wow, cracked the housing too. Must have made an awfully ugly sound.

Still, if you could find a fried-motor 6000 RPM 13 amp Milwaukee grinder real cheap with a good housing, the gears and such are pretty indestructible…give or take hit and run accidents.
