No, I didn’t shape it. Some guy in Seal Beach does. From what Herb S. tells me, this guy is now making them with 5 fins. I’ll post a picture if I get one.

A lot of women are taking on this shape as well. See, a woman should be like a 70s pintail, narrow in the rear with a lot up top. But often, as they get older,they get that Lazor Zap look. It’s a real shame.
It’s funny, this board is mistakenly called a lazor zap. Heck, I even call it that sometimes. Mccoy called it an Astron Zot. It was the uber lazor zap model that was never meant for production to anyone but Cheyne. It had a 21’’ wide tail. Original zaps had wide point about dead center. They just looked behind center because the tails were wide.
