that’s just very, very, very cool. Congratulations Paul!

sweet.

Hi Paul it looks like you are all having a whale of a time there, and a cute looking board too.

.

Paul,

Did you get any surf ?

Hi Paul,

After a year or so of sitting on this project, I decided to get it going again. I’m using an adjustable rocker table for this because I don’t want to make the jigs you use. If it turns out that I like it, I may make the proper jigs to hold this together right.

I have 3 stringers cut out, but I’ve only got the center one set right now. I still have to cut holes through the braces to allow air to flow around. Everything is 1/4" balsa right now, but I’ll be using 1/8" cork and balsa on the rails, and 2 layers of 1/16 balsa and alternating the grain for the skins for more strength.

I hope to finish it this year.

Hi Paul,

looks like you had a great time.

If I had that many helping hands, my board would have been finished a lot faster too!

regards,

Håvard

Thats really great Paul, Looks Like you and the class were stoked.

Love that rocker table. Is that standard ply on its top or some of that great Flexiply? I’m going to have to make one.

I used 1/8" masonite (hardboard). It isn’t attached to the rocker table, but if it were, I’d just put a couple of screws into one of the middle braces.

I set the rocker without the top board, then once it’s set I lay the 1/8" masonite over the struts

i am assuming that paul posted all the pictures from that trip on his sight-if so, i encourage all of you to check them out. some awesome country, etc…thanks paul and excellent endeavor all the way through!

Matt…

I couldn’t post ALL of the trip pictures there, just the ones related to the class…

Ireland is amazing…

GO…!!!..

You’ll thank me later…

Paul
