In Bert’s tutorial he showed cutting out the rail as one piece. The largest piect of divinycell I’ve seen is 8’. Do you need to do scarf joints to extent the piece for a 9’ board? Would it be best to put the joints at the tail and nose?
I would definately scarf the joints. Less chance of the joint printing through and much stronger than a butt joint. I’m seeing increasing amounts of Tuflites with a print line across the board. I’m guessing they do butt joints. platty.
hide the join , scarf …ive currently got an 11 footer in the system , d cell combo , with hidden joins , will post a pic when its done …
