Found this for sale while I was looking on ebay for a guideprice for a second hand board…

the seller says

“I have photographed the different stages in making a surfboard and together with diagrams and instructions I think I have written a very clear set of instructions for making your first board. I have also included details of companies (UK) who can supply the materials for your first board.”

wonder why anyone would pay for that while Swaylocks exists!!

Has anyone bought it, wonder what its like…

I better jump the gun and go with that guy, as he has TWO FULL YEARS of experience. Sorry :frowning: I just dont think he should be selling his “how tos” at that stage quite yet.

Hey Chris,

I think you answered your question. There’s no way someone could put all the information accured here and shove it into a little book, even if it was $9.95. And you can ask questions here. The little book won’t answer questions, even if you yell at it.

If you can’t make a pro looking board from this website…your probably not cut out for making boards. (quote, Fred P Zummwalt, after his his 8ft gun delamed , definned and apart after surfing The Cove last year.) Quote," Dam thing wouldn’t turn, so I just surfed it into the rock"
